Team: ANJUM ASHRAF RAJONNO

Anjum Rajonno is an Associate Researcher at Kastle Tech and one of the key leads behind the AG RADAR project. They are affiliated with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Spain, where their academic background supports a strong foundation in applied research and technology-driven innovation.

Within AG RADAR, Rajonno played a central role in developing an approval and quality-assessment system for second-grade agricultural produce designed to minimize post-harvest loss. This work leveraged computer vision and data-driven workflows to improve decision-making across agricultural supply chains, enabling more efficient use of produce that is often overlooked or discarded.

Rajonno’s expertise lies at the intersection of agritech, computer vision and applied research, with a consistent focus on building practical scalable solutions. Prior to AG RADAR, they contributed to NASA’s exoplanet research initiatives gaining experience in large-scale data analysis and collaborative scientific environments.

They have also worked extensively with Bellingcat actively collaborating on projects involving satellite and geospatial data.
